NBA 2015-16: TV Channel, Live Stream Info, Start Times For Opening Night
The 2015-2016 NBA season tips off on Tuesday night with three games on national television, including both teams from the 2015 NBA Finals. The NBA schedule gets more action on Wednesday, with a slate of 14 games.
Here’s a quick look at opening night in the NBA.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls
The defending Eastern Conference champions travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls at the United Center. Chicago represents perhaps Cleveland’s biggest hurdle in reaching a second straight NBA Finals. Derrick Rose, who took an elbow from teammate Taj Gibson in training camp, is ready for opening night and is expected to play with a mask. LeBron James says his lower back is not an issue and he is ready to begin NBA season No. 13. Kyrie Irving will not play as he recovers from knee surgery. Meanwhile, Fred Hoiberg makes his coaching debut with the Bulls after replacing Tom Thibodeau.

Detroit Pistons at Atlanta Hawks
Mike Budenholzer’s Hawks tied a franchise record by winning 60 games en route to the No. 1-overall seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Although they were swept in the conference finals, last year's run was a step in the right direction. The Hawks lost DeMarre Carroll but return four All-Stars in Jeff Teague, Al Horford, Kyle Korver and Paul Millsap. Detroit has lost Greg Monroe, who will be replaced by Andre Drummond, and also signed Reggie Jackson to an extension. The Pistons also added Ersan Ilyasova and Marcus Morris.

New Orleans Pelicans at Golden State Warriors
Alvin Gentry was on Golden State’s side a season ago when they won the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Now, he’s the new head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans, who get to watch the Warriors get their championship rings at Oracle Arena on Tuesday night. Led by MVP Stephen Curry, Golden State posted a gaudy 67-15 record before knocking off LeBron James and the Cavs in the finals. These two teams met in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs a season ago, resulting in a four-game sweep for the eventual champions. New Orleans is looking to improve on a 45-37 season and an 0-7 mark at Golden State since star big man Anthony Davis entered the league in 2012-2013.
