Shaq Says He Would've Joined A Super Team With Michael Jordan
One could question whether Shaquille O’Neal’s Magic and Lakers were talented enough to be considered super teams. The Hall of Famer joined ESPN’s First Take and discussed NBA superstars joining championship caliber teams in pursuit of a ring and he joked about doing that in his own playing days.
"I told my boy the other day, if you could do that, I would have went to Chicago and just played with [Michael Jordan]," O'Neal said. "I didn't know [that was an option]."
The comment came as a result of discussing the rumor that the Golden State Warriors could be in play for LeBron James and the four-time MVP may be willing to listen to an offer. James would have to decline the $35.6 million player option for next season and then Golden State would need to clear the necessary cap space.

O'Neal joked to First Take that if he was James, he would join the Warriors but he would love for James to stay in Cleveland.
Shipping alert: Could 'Black Panther's Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan be more than friends?

Are Black Panther stars Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong'o a couple? There are signs of a budding romance between the Marvel co-stars, and Twitter is here for it.
Even though their characters aren't romantically linked in the movie (out Friday) — Jordan plays villain Erik Killmonger, while Nyong'o plays Nakia, the warrior guardian of Wakanda's King T'Challa — the two young stars seem to have some serious off-screen chemistry.

Fans have pointed to the two stars' cozy body language at press events as a sign that there might be something more between the two.
During an appearance at the SiriusXM studios on Tuesday, Jordan and Nyong'o sat next to each other and found excuses to exchange friendly taps and touches.

Then, there's the duo's running gag of Nyong'o demanding Jordan do impromptu push-ups.
Nyong'o and Jordan attended Tuesday's Calvin Klein show at New York Fashion Week alongside Black Panther co-star Letitia Wright, sitting front-row with their arms linked. After the show, with a camera ready, Nyong'o asked Jordan to hit the ground, and he obliged by delivering a single push-up.
"She's brutal," Jordan jokes to the camera. "Never bet with her ever."
Jordan seems to have lost some sort of bet, giving Nyong'o the power to demand push-ups at will. Earlier this week, during a livestreamed Q&A with the Black Panther cast, Nyong'o interrupted the interviewer's question to demand a push-up.
"I'd just like to add," Nyong'o says, looking at Jordan, "give me one."
"So vicious!" Jordan says, hitting the ground to do a single push-up. "It's an inside (joke)."
"It's a traditional challenge called 'on-demand push-ups," director Ryan Coogler joked, explaining that Jordan lost some kind of bet to Nyong'o. "So Mike, you owe Lupita four on-call push-ups."

To be sure, both stars are notoriously secretive about their respective romantic lives, with Nyong'o sidestepping dating questions in her January cover story for Vogue.
“You can ask, but you definitely won’t get an answer,” she said. “There have been rumors and rumors and rumors about my love life. That’s the one area that I really like to hold close to my heart.”
Jordan told the WSJ Magazine in January that he is not involved in anything serious. "Technically, I'm single," he said. "Dating, but, you know, technically single."
Yet, Twitter is still ready for their potential coupling.
One user tweeted, "The romcom isn't dead it's just evolved into every single picture of Lupita Nyong'o and Michael B. Jordan in the same room."
Another fan wants Nyong'o and Jordan to make things official, and "not just on red carpet appearances."

Before Michael Jordan captivated fans in the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest, he stood in awe.
The NBA shared video of Jordan's reaction to Larry Bird's legendary performance in the 1988 3-Point Shootout via Instagram.
A 24-year-old Jordan watched Bird hit eight of his final 10 attempts in the semifinal round, scoring 23 out of a possible 30 — all while wearing his Celtics warm-up jacket.
Jordan did not hesitate to offer his analysis on Bird's choice of shooting apparel: "He didn't take off his top yet. I'd hate to see it when he takes off his top."
Bird decided against it and still managed to win the 3-Point Shootout.
Later that afternoon, Jordan would outduel Dominique Wilkins in one of the most heralded dunk contests in the history of the event.
Jordan's final dunk, the famous free-throw line double-clutch, earned a perfect score of 50 and secured his second Slam Dunk Contest title.
It is only fair to assume that Jordan drew inspiration from Bird's championship performance to put forth one of his own.
