2019 MLB All-Star Game starters voting results: Astros lead with three selections; Mike Trout tops vote-getters

The new two-step voting process for the 2019 MLB All-Star Game starting position players is complete. First, a general election was held to select three finalists at each position in each league. Here are those results. A second vote then selected the starters at each position from the three finalists. The second vote was a 28-hour dash from 12 p.m. ET Wednesday to 4 p.m. ET Thursday. MLB officially announced the voting results during a live ESPN broadcast Thursday evening. Here are the 2019 MLB All-Star Game starters as elected by the fans. 2020 NBA Mock Draft: Big Questions For Next Season

Now that Zion Williamson and the rest of the 2019 class have been drafted into the NBA, it's time to shift our full attention to next year's crop of prospects. James Wiseman and Cole Anthony have stood out for the better part of three years in settings such as USA Basketball, the Nike EYBL, Basketball Without Borders camps and various FIBA events. That has given us a good starting point to begin to evaluate the 2020 class -- as well as 2021, which is already underway. We'll continue that process over the course of the summer, attending the FIBA Under-19 World Cup, plus the A and B divisions of the FIBA Europe junior championships, including the U16, U18 and U20 tournaments. We'll cap that off with the CP3 camp and USA Basketball minicamp in July, and the Nike Skills Academy in August. Be on the lookout for our first projection of the 2021 NBA draft in the fall. Here's what we know so far for 2020 and what we're watching most closely:

Michael Jordan Announces Jayson Tatum Has Signed With Jordan Brand

Some other Jordan Brand athletes in the NBA are Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin and Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul. It's unclear if NBA icon and Hall of Famer Michael Jordan plans to announce any more additions to the Jordan Brand roster ahead of the 2019-20 season. Michael Jordan Announced Jayson Tatum As The Next Jordan Brand Athlete

LSU Football Program Faces 'ongoing Inquiry' By NCAA

LSU continues to face scrutiny from the NCAA. This time, the Tigers' football program is under the association's microscope. The school announced Friday it was cooperating with the NCAA in an "ongoing inquiry" into an alleged payment made to the father of a former player. According to the Baton Rouge Business Report, a booster who pleaded guilty to stealing more than $500,000 from a Louisiana foundation paid $180,000 of that to the father of former Tigers lineman Vadal Alexander. Yahoo Sports confirmed the identity of the receipt Friday, while the name of the booster in the Business Report on Thursday. John Paul Funes was the CEO and president for the Our Lady of the Lake hospital system's foundation - a prominent medical center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - and stole the money over a period of seven years, Yahoo Sports noted.
