Images On Thursday night, the NBA played its final game ever at Oracle Arena in Oakland. It was a memorable occasion, with the Toronto Raptors winning the league title on the Golden State Warriors’ home court. And so we used that idea for Friday morning’s PFT Live draft. What were the most memorable final games at NFL stadiums? Madhatters' premier men's football team are making themselves at home in Northland's premier competition with their latest 3-0 win over Kerikeri on Saturday. Playing in their first year back in the top local division, Madhatters are on a three-game winning streak after two 5-1 wins over FC Whangārei and Tikipunga. The team's last loss came in a tight 2-1 result against Kaeo-Inter on May 4. Madhatters striker Greg Tetlaw opened his side's scoring account at the Otaika Domain this weekend after just 10 minutes before catching the Kerikeri goalkeeper off his line 20 minutes later with a superb shot from 30 metres out to make the score 2-0 in their favour. Thankfully for Madhatters, the wind which they had been playing with in the first half died down in the second half, giving the visitors less of an advantage. RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — For 2022 World Cup host Qatar, every Copa America match will be like a final. Sunday's clash against Paraguay at the historic Maracana stadium is especially so because it is probably the team's best chance to pick up points in the tournament. Qatar's Spanish coach Felix Sanchez told journalists on Saturday his team will try to compete at a high level in all three group stage matches against Argentina, Colombia and Paraguay. He believes the first two are candidates to win the title, meaning the game against the Paraguayans represents the best chance for Asian Cup holder Qatar to register a victory. "It will be like a final," said Sanchez. "But it will be the same against Argentina and Colombia. These are all great footballing nations." The tournament opens on Friday June 7th with the host country France taking on South Korea. ~ World Cup Fantasy This being a fantasy footie blog, I started a month ago searching high and low to find a fantasy format like what we played last year.
